The latest view of the robot:

Size:  2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" (60mm x 60mm x 85mm).

The latest addition are collision sensors and proximity sensor.

You can even see the robot "in motion".  Unfortunately the movie is not available because of free web hosting limitation.  You can see just a animated sequence of pictures.

Robot control algorithm has been described using Finite State Machine approach.

TeamUR the Third has a whole bunch of elements from TeamUR the Second.  The main difference is in the motors.  The stepper motors have been replaced with two hacked sub micro servos.
Thanks to the circuits in the servos the motor control is very simple.
