TeamUR Robo-Project Illustrated

Motor for TeamUR the First has been taken from voice recorder mechanism. The whole mechanism has been purchased from Solarbotics. The item name is "Metal Cassette Mechanism #2", item "MCM2" and price was $8 per mechanism.

According to Solarbotics the motor has parameters as follows:

	Initial rotation at 0.3V, drawing 23.5mA @ 20rpm
	2.0V draws 31.4ma @ 192 rpm
	5.0V draws 46mA @ 526 rpm
	Motor Coil Resistance: 5.7ohms

The motor is installed with worm gear.

Unfortunately for TeamUR the First we needed pulley which was part of the recorder mechanism too. The pulley and the gear needed tiny trimming to fit on the common shaft.

Here is the final result: sprocket glued to the gear.
